very simple

about 90% of the time I’m happy with my primary lens, an AF Nikkor 35-70 originally designed for film cameras and discontinued in 2006. However, there are times I wish I had something more telephoto, so I picked up a very inexpensive Nikkor 70-300 grey market at B&H this morning. Eventually (perhaps once I am employed again) I will upgrade, but I think this will serve the purpose of being a lightweight, once-in-a-while telephoto zoom.
